Field Review:
Three Rivers Paintball has a great field. Pro-shop on site, large variaty of forts and towers along with a large woods base.

-Woodsball field:
Very nice setup. However, smaller that we first imagined. Losts of forts, towers, bunkers...etc. A lot used in themed games from Mission Masters Paintball Games.
Overall: 5/5

-Staff:
Staff has changed dramatically from our last visit. Reffing was great, staff treated us with respect and we're very helpful.
Overall: 5/5

-Speedball Fields:
Two regulation sized 5 man speedball courses. Looked very nice.
Overall: 5/5

-Equipment:
Their rental gear was composed of Tippmann 98 Customs, V-Force Armor Goggles, and a 42/3000 HPA Tank. Very good equipment. They offer both Compressed air and C02 Fills.
Overall: 5/5

-Paint:
They offer:
Diablo Nightmare: MUCH BETTER than RE. No breaks all day!
Overall: 5/5

Field Overall:
TRP has a very NICE woodsball field and pro-shop. Reffing and management was WAY better this time around. We were very pleased to see the change. Still had some problems with people not calling out on the opposite team, but you cant change the fact that some people are going to cheat. Love the field!

I give the field itself a 5/5
Mission Masters Game: 5/5
Everything else: 4/5

Scenario Description:
Well the premis for this sceanrio was based off the movie AVP and AVP E. This is the first MM game that had the 3 team setup.
Teams were:
Aliens - Led by Jackson
Predators - Led by Cuda
Humans - Led by Hollywood

F.E.A.R played the role of Humans, under the command of Hollywood.

Cuda's synopsis:

WOW! Thanks everyone for another FANTASTIC day of paintball! And thanks to all the diehards who dared to brave the weather forecast. For those who missed this one for betting on poor weather - the word MISS is out there front and center. We missed you and you missed one helluva game - there's simply no other way to put it.

As for the game okay so the Preds lost by score - but not by pride. There were 94 total persons in who participated, 24 of whom were on the Preds for the duration of the day. The math speaks for itself. We found all of the players were too committed to their respective teams and scores to consider changing sides. After mission 6 a few players left from the Aliens & Humans teams, but by then, the damage was already done.

By the 8th mission, the Preds could not win even by pulling a full score and preventing the opposing teams from scoring... so we became the "spoiler" team. Unbeknownst to me, until I hit the field, the Preds made an Alliance with the Aliens and planned on shooting the remaining Aliens at the the 5-minute mark. However, out of the gate, the Aliens were firing on us so it took a little convincing before I believed there was any alliance at all. The Aliens made it to the Choppa first and slowly allowed Preds into the area to hold the Humans at bay. When the five-minute mark was announced there was an eerie feeling in the air as Aliens and Predators eyed each other up at close range. Who was going to double-cross and fire the first shot? One Alien lowered the Pred flag and was promptly shot by for his action. No one else fired and the tension grew really thick. I hopped out of the helo and raised the Pred flag to up the ante. No one fired and I got back in the helo. The looks and the tension was electrifying for all. At around the one minute mark an Alien (Josh) announced "We got all the Humans, now let's shoot the Predators!" This sparked gunfire between Aliens and Preds. Several were eliminated but most held fire. At the ten-second mark a Pred reached in the back of the helo and barrel tagged an Alien standing only four feet from me. I tagged another who stood next to me. At about 7 seconds I did what any spoiler team would have set out to do: Steal the points for ourselves! I hopped out of the helo and yanked the Alien Flag down hoping Predator gunfire would prevent any change in the final seconds. I was wrong! I got LIT UP by every remaining Alien in the area and one of 'em even managed to switch the flags. It happened so fast that I believed I pulled the wrong flag - about 10 running steps out of the helo, I turned around and saw the Blue flag flying. So Aliens stole the game away from the Humans with the help of an unholy alliance. It wasn't my pinky promise - but given the circumstances, I did what I could to steal the points from both Aliens and Humans.

ALL things considered, it was another memorable day of paintball. The thinner crowd made all teams work harder to complete mission objectives. All teams EARNED every point they got and there is no shame to anyone for their accomplishments. Much like last year, it was like being outnumbered 2:1 all day for everyone. I really enjoyed playing this event with the Predators - we had tons of fun and that's what really counts in the end! CONGRATS to the winning teams and EVERYONE who played!

FINAL SCORE:

Aliens: 150
Humans: 120
Predators: 85

--------------------------------------

The day started off with wet weather and ended with sunny and warm goodness. Met in the morning at the trusty Walmart like usual, and from there it was on the road to TRP. We got three members of the team, Juicifer, Ron, and Hudd to thier first Mission Masters experience and what a great choice it was. The weather wasn't going to stop us. The drive up was rainy but like always for a Mission Masters Event it clears up for the whole day!
We unpacked our gear and loaded up. Team Fear ran the most of the day with pistols and pumps.  The first mission went the best for the Humans. We had excellent communication and a great game plan. Everyone knew what they were doing and we got it done. The best I had ever seen. We took the lead right away and we kept it that way for the rest of the day until Mission 8. Team FEAR managed to kill many predators and aliens with their pistols and pumps throughout the day. During mission 4, there was a storm for the houses in the creekbed. Tanix and Varnel both ran down there with thier pistols firing. They both ran upto a house in the center of the creekbed, and bunkered a guy inside who was pinning down other players at the boat.

The half way mark and a good lunch. . . .

We cleaned up our gear for the next half. Especially my pinokio that was dumped in the mud by Hudd.  But its ok, it was funny.  Tanix and I fired up the grill and cooked up some hotdogs for FEAR and some of the Mission Masters crew. We had refueld and were ready to go another round with Mike Tyson.

The second half of the day went just as well. We remained in the lead and made some killer moves. We had two from Team FEAR in the second half as special characters. Myself, in mission 7 and Ron, in Mission 8. Mission 7 was intense, we were surrounded. With Varnel and I in a small building securing the objective and Tanix lurking around outside. The humans were the death dealers that mission and we held our objective the whole mission for the score.
Mission 8. The last battle of the day. We were still in the lead and put up a tough fight. Ron was our special character. The Aliens and Predators made an unknown alliance to defeat us but we still fought hard. In the end we lost. The Aliens came out on top in score with Humans in second and the Predators in third. All in all the Humans were the winners the whole day.
After a long day, we had awards. Ron from FEAR won a Valor award for his great efforts through out the day. Along with Hudd winning a BT-4, Juicifer winning a BT Jersey, and myself winning a BT backpack.
It was another great Mission Masters Event down in the books, and on to the next!
