After playing several World War 2 games and watching a crap load of WWII movies, I grew very fond of the Thompson M1 Submachine gun. When I started to get into paintball a little more seriously, I began looking for websites that sold WWII paintball gun mods. I came across Engler Paintball and thier version of the Thompson M1(Pictured Below) made from the best paintball gun of all time, a Tippmann 98 Custom.

Well, after seeing this, I figured.."I must have it NOW!!", until I seen the price tag. A whopping $650 bucks +. Needless to say, this broke my spirits. I ended up looking it at every day, taunting myself because I knew I'd never own it. After a while it started to eat away at me, so I decided that there must be a better way to replicate my 98C to this gun. So I did some research and found a website called tommygunshop.com
Now clearly, these were all real parts, so it was perfect. It was time to make my dream a reality.
Hence the Thompson Project began.
Here I will guide you through my endevaor to make a Thompson 98C.
