well i have finally got to shoot the t8.1.

heres a quick review:

i dont know what happend but the first time i shot this the balls were chopping and curving like NO TOMMOROW!!!! these my be the reasons that the balls curved and chopped.
1. 26 degree weather
2. i was using wal-mart 8.96 paintballs
3. i havent set the fps on it yet

im not sure but i think it will be better once i dont use the worlds crappiest paintballs and when the weather gets to be warmer. when i get the fps on this thing down because i think its above 300 right now as a rough estimate. im not saying i dont like the gun yet but by the way its shooting right now i dont have alot of cofidence in it, but as i said weather, cheap paint, and fps can all be a factor to why this thing is shooting like garbage. i still have faith in it and oh yeaaa on more thing......... t8.1 FTW!!!!

Wait. . . so you say you don't have confidence in it and you say it doesn;t work well for you but then you say "8.1 FTW" doesn't make sense. You just contradicted what you said.

And of course its the cold weather and crappy paint. For an accurate test/revew of it though your gonna have to shoot more than just a mag or 2 through it.

i didnt have confidence when i was shooting it but when it gets warmer and it gets to be broken in i think it will be good because i havent even set the fps so i thought that could be a problem too but i think it will be a good gun

I might not be all the cold weather. His velocity is probably jacked. My Tac8 worked fine in winter..even with bad paint.

Are there any paintball fields close to where you live? You really need to chrono it.

Or maybe you lost the bolt bumper. Have you taken it apart? Can you see or feel a small rubber piece on the front of your bolt? Should be red or clear.

No I was talking about the Tac 8.1. Newer tacs have a soft touch bolt to help with chopping. It is just a piece of rubber on the front of the bolt. If you dry fire the gun it sometimes comes off, and if it does you get tons of chops. I would check the front of your bolt to see if you have a red or clear bolt bumper attached to it or if there was just a screw with nothing on it. I have lost 2 or 3 already. Tiberius will send you new ones for free if you call them.

this is usually done by reading the manual and taking it apart Smiley
or having a master tech like varnel or enhander to look at it, after u have exhausted all known knowledge.

Take your barrel off, look in the breach, look at the front of the bolt, see if there is rubber piece on it.
