I wan a mech gu but alot of the reason is so I can use it in UWL. If we play the tac. division it wouldn't matter. I also want a mini and you can find them every where for around $200. I may be selling my ION soon and If I do I wont have an electro any more. So should I get the cocker and not worry about having an electro or should I get the mini.
Cocker
Pros Its all mech. the back block is hypnotizing It is easy on paint. cheap
Cons When they don't feel like working there a pain in the but If I get it I probably wont have an elector for a while
Mini Pros I really like them Not to expensive
Cons I wold have to buy a loader as well which may take a few months. no back block

Here is my opinion.
A mini, a Ego, a cocker, a mag, a tippman, a ion, etc, they are all good especially to start. I can tell you from my experience that most people don't get more elimination’s because they have a better marker. They do better on the field because they know their marker and how it works.
No matter what marker you choose learn how far it shoots, learn if the ball curves up or shoots straight when it leaves the barrel, practice with the same setup over and over again so many times that you don't really have to aim, just snap shoot effectively.
The guys that get more elimination’s have learned what marker feels best in their hands and what style of play they should adopt. All of this comes with time and experience. I have only been playing for 2 years and just starting to figure out what style is best for me. So in conclusion no person in my opinion can tell you what marker to get. We can all make recommendations on what ones we like, and what ones to stay away from. However the best marker for you is the one that you feel most comfortable with, that fits your body style and works with your style of play.
So try a few, pick one and stick with it for a while.
Some of the team members go through a couple of markers a season. Don't let that get in the way of becoming one with the marker of your choice. Those guys have played so long that it is natural for them with any marker. I can tell you that I am not that good yet.

I've owned quite a few guns. Not as many as some ( Mamba and Lee) lol but I do know that Scott is right. I have played with many guns and the two that really fit me well are the PMR and the Mini. . . . I have played with the Mini so much that I love it and know it inside and out. Except for a certain leak now. . but still it all depends on your style. I personally love either of the two because they work very well for me.

Well I have owned 3 cockers and I love them. Its not so much of which gun fits me the best but its more about which gun would fit the style im playing now. I have shot Rons mini a few time and love it. It really fits my style, light and tight. I think my bigest problem is that im so indesive. Theres not really a gun on the market that just screams "buy me" right now. So I think I may just continue to play with the ION for now and decide later in the season if I want a new gun. Unless I sell it to my friend who may buy it, then Ill be in the same boat.
Thanks for the advice all.
