Hey F.E.A.R.
I've been lurking on your website and forums for quite a while and figured I should actually register instead of being like that strange uncle no one wants to talk to. I was wondering if anyone from FEAR was planning on attending Fulda Gap 2010. It's looking to be one of the best ones yet. The player cap is at 1000 just like last year and I believe they brought in somewhere around 950 players for the event. I'm hoping that I might be able to convince you guys to join the NATO forces. Warsaw has won this game for the past 4 years, but there is a major leadership change this year and we think that we can bring the win home for the NATO side this year. Registration has already opened for the event as they expect the units to begin to fill up fast. I'll be commanding the 11th Cav. 1st Squadron this year which will be stationed near Ambush Alley/Fulda. That position is one of the first to meet the enemy is guarantees a lot of action from the start. If you all decide to come and hopefully decide to fight with NATO I'd be honored if you would fight with me and the 11-1. I'm looking for good core teams to fill my ranks and originally being from McDowell County I'd love to have some Mountaineers on my side. No matter what decision you guys make I just hope to see you there.

We indeed will be there. We had a few guys there last year including me just doing media, but expect to have a much larger crowd and actually playing this year. We will most defiantly be Nato but where we will be fighting I'm not sure. One of our sponsors Will Conlee is on IYAOYAS and we might end up running with them. Only time will tell, but look for us there in force on the NATO side somewhere.

http://www.fuldagap.com/NATOamerican.shtmlThe CDC website is saying Nov. 5-7. I'm familiar with some of the YO'YOs. I'm active on the X7OG and Operator Strike Force sites and used to get on Skype every few days and yack it up with some of them from different chapters. My wife and I just had our first child in March so free time to do fun things like that is harder to come by. LOL I'm glad that you all will be running NATO. As soon as you find out what unit Lee is wanting to run with I'd pre-reg as soon as you can. Command planning and recruiting are coming into full swing and I expect the units to fill up in the next few months for the most part.

I registered today for NATO, fighting under the 3-17 Mech. Hope to see you guys down there for sure!
Also, if you guys are planning to go down it would be great to have a carpool so I'm not driving 10 hours by myself haha. There is a lot of time til the game though, just figured I would post up just to see!
