Had an absolute blast at MVP today with Firestorm and all his friends. It was good to see Dan again. Also good to catch up with Rage from BoB, who has been working at MVP for almost a year now! Ill be working on a small FPS video and post it here soon...Probably tomorrow.
I will say that it sadden me to see that the field area foliage/grass is overgrown..up to your waist. The Logging road is not playable at all..as Firestorm will attest too..it was like walking in a jungle lol. They added a new "Urban Assault" course where the airball field was..which was really fun to play on...even though I got owned lol. Also, Nature has taken the ammo dump area and the whole area at the bottom of the field back. I imagine it wouldnt be too bad to play in the Fall/Winter times because everything would be dead..but now its unplayable. The paint was really bad too. I think the weather had a lot to do with that. It was also extremely SMALL bore....Im talking .680-.682. It was rolling out of my .688 UL back.
All in all still a good day, I had a blast with everyone and must say that it was one of the most honest groups Ive had the pleasure to ball with. I played 4 games and reffed the rest after pulling a muscle in my leg...which started to feel better before we left..and is now hurting again...Sucks getting old lol.
If Fires' friends start to play again..they would be very wise to pick up.They were all great ballers and like to move fast..great guys.
Stay tuned for FPS!
