Work in Progress.

But here's some teasers.

And here's a mock up of what I'd like it to look like.

I'm going to paint it black.  The barrel is too thin to drill and tap into and I don't really trust JB Weld to hold.  I'll see how it looks painted black.

is the base of the sight steel or aluminum? You may be able to take it to a welding shop and gave them weld it on.

Stuff like this is why I have Jackson working on a new BAR grip. Where are you getting the wooden foregrip at Karl?

Steel, I think.  I have a spacer/adapter that is curved to fit the barrel that I made out of aluminum.  I could get it welded.  But it's got the possibility of messing with the barrel.  I'll see how it cleans up once the clamp is painted.

I think I've found a solution for the o-ring issues we've been having.  Vaseline helped a lot, but after about 30-40 shots, the o-ring was shredded again.  Cleaned the burrs out too, and still shredded eventually.

So I went online and bought PTFE (teflon) o-rings.  MUCH higher durability rating.  I've heard many people have had great success with these o-rings.  Should be here this week.  Got 10 of each (smaller and larger).

30 to 40 shots arent bad considering how much pressure that thing builds. hopefully the new ones will work out better for ya.  Wink
