In my opinion the one on it looks good enough to save 140 bucks on that one.

Man thats still expensive. But I guess it is still a god deal. If you can get a real one what are the other options?

Id eventually like to get a Real BAR bipod. The one thats on it is too thin and doesnt look right. You must remember..If it doesnt look as close to 100% as possible..it aggravates me. I dunno..maybe ill see if I can find another for cheaper..but $140 is a killer deal.

After about 30 minutes worth of work and a 15 minute trip to Lowes because my dremel crapped out on me...Heres the pistol grip removed. I need to extend the trigger guard by using a 98C trigger guard and get another trigger..either a 98 or A5 trigger...so if anyone has one they are willing to donate to the cause...please let me know Smiley

Whats the plan with the stock now?

Moving the hand guard back was a good move, looks a lot better!

Got the 98C trigger and trigger guard. I worked on it a bit last night and all I have to do is figure out how to attach the trigger and how it will operate. I also have to secure/paint the new back part of the trigger guard.

Not gonna have to do anything to the stock.

Okie dokie gents, heres some updated pics. The trigger actually operates as is. I have to move it up in the grip a bit more and make a new trigger guard..paint it..and I should be golden! Comments?

Yes..it looks rough..I know. But its almost done. Very Beta stages..but I know how it make it fire consistently now..its just not secure 100%. Gotta love video decompression...ignore the retarded audio.

Well heres the beta final stages. Im gonna work on filling in some of that trigger guard, but the trigger works just like a normal X7 trigger. Fires with much more stability now. Of course the 3 inch extension that the bipod is mounted on needs painted, but other than that, it feels like Im actually holding a BAR now, not some kind of pistol gripped variant Smiley

Its not 100% finalized yet. Good thing is I dont have to send it to Engler to get painted anymore. I found a website that sells Parkerized Grey spray paint. Smiley
