well i think ive been playing long enough to get one of these "better" guns if i got the slg id just get the basic starter pack with co2 and a proto mask and proto primo loader id do the same with the ion ive heard mixed reviews about both of these i do realize the slg might be better but i wanted to get your guys thoughts on thse two markers!  Undecided im really unsure wat to go with

The ion is smother but the resale is junk on it. I think tge ion has the better trigger aswell. And it is quieter. They are both decent guns and a good value for the money. You might want to look at a used pmr aswell. Iv seen them for around 200. On thing to consider is tgat proto is still in business but smartparts is not. If you get an ion I would defiantly take a look at some used ones. You can get some good deals. I might even sell you mine. Pm me if you want details.

I agree with everything Hudd said, but take note that I believe Smart Parts is still servicing guns at one of their locations.  Just figured I would throw that out there in case that was your limiting factor.

I have shot a fully upgraded ion  , smooth , but  i have an slg and stock board is just as fast as an upgraded ion. accuracy is the same.

Both are great guns for the price. People will always put you down for using an ION though just FYI. MY old ION shot just as good as my DM7 though. I actually miss it a lot, it was nasty.

yea my decked out punisher paintball ion was awesome. but under all that extra armor it was still a ion.
id say go slg. if you get some more $ get a nice ul'd pmr.

Nice. SLG's are good markers. Definitely worth the cash..especially if your getting the players pack!
