BAN PIZZA!!!

« on: August 23, 2010, 05:07:37 PM »

Just paid for a "new" marker.  It's older than me.

Nelspot 007
Lapco Adjustable Bolt with anti-kink
Lapco Fluted Hammer
Black Pump Handle

Comes with a back-bottle valve, but I have a WTB thread on MCB for an in-grip 12 gram valve.  Should be a fun project and marker.

I'll keep that in mind.  Thanks!  I'm debating between polished or power coated.  I'm leaning towards polished.  The pump handle will start to wear through the power coating over time.  Polished will need additional polishing from time to time.  Thoughts?

Polished is sexy, you saw what my brother did to that Pirahna SB I got from Titus.

Before:

After:

He did that in 2.5 hours while I was working my night job.  This pic doesn't even do the job justice.  I'm sure I could get it done pretty damn cheap for you if you want, just LMK.

It's not brass.  It's steel.

He can do steel, wait'll you see what he did to my mag body(I'll be unveiling that beauty when the parts get back from ano.

Only thing with steel is that it's harder to polish and it rusts - so you'll need to turtle wax it after you get it polished.

How much (approx.) are we talking for a polishing job?

Just got off the phone with him.

He has all the compounds for working steel in his shop.  He'll hand sand it and machine buff it for $40 - if it's badly pitted it'll cost a little more due to the increased time.
