I got my Q-loader in the mail today (yay!), but when I tried to load them, one wasn't turning right.   When I go to turn the loading crank, the tension is to high.   The crank just slips and it springs back.   I need some help.

Sounds like the spring is unlocking when you put the pressure of loading the pod. Take the pod apart and take the long shaft with the spring on it out. At the bottom of the spring it has a little bend that is inserted into the shaft. This holds the bottom in place while the top spins, thus creating tension when you load then. Release the top and it spins and loads balls. If this bend pops out of the shaft after a bit of tension then you will hear all the tension release and the pod will not load or feed paint. When I checked mine, my hole was all jacked up and there was no way to keep it stuck in there, so I Gorilla Glued the bend into the hole. Got the job done, but I would avoid that route if I could. Try pushing the spring's end deeper into the hole. (Bend more if you have to) If that doesn't work then glue that sucker so she don't come out!

I don't think its the spring itself, but the socket at the bottom that the nut sits in is slipinng.   Is that socket suppose to go so far that the nut is all the way back inside it?

Do you realize what you just started?

Yes. The Sping should slide down over that nut. The nut (which is reverse threaded I believe) has to be snugged. This is how the QPod retains its tension; by the spring sliding over the nut and the nut staying put on the center rod.

If all else fails, take the spring to a neutral tension then put prewinds back on it. Im not sure what vids Qloader still has on their site (mainly because I havent looked at it since they dumped me as a player rep) but if you still need help, Im sure the FEAR guys could make up a qpods disassembly and prewind video *coughcough*

I figured out the problem.   The nut was sliding too far up into the socket, so the spring was expanding too far.   What I did to remedy that was to put a bunch of o'rings down in the bottome of the shaft.   By doing so, the socket has a stoping point, and the nut can fit throuth o'rings freely.   I put it back to gether to see if I made any progress.   I put the crank on it, and it worked....yes!   Now if only my PCS gear will show up, then it will be very nice!
